Celebrate the Summer

I am back in the card making mood once again! Summer is almost here, I am creating like crazy, and in love with stamping again! This card was inspired by cards at Better Homes and Gardens. The reds and greens remind me of picking strawberries with my DD.

These are two different cards I made for our retiring staff memebers at work. Since they are close friends and the retirement receptions will be held together, I thought it would be fun to make coordinating cards for them. I was so fortunate to teach with them, I immediately fell in love with the stamp from Stampin Up! It reads:

LUCKY YOU

...and lucky me for knowing you!

Thanks so much for stopping by and hanging with me as I went through a very long and cold winter, wet spring, and a drought in the crafting area.

Z-fold card for Z-graduate!

This z-fold card is for a dear girl who is graduating form high school. I really wanted to use her school colors, red, black, and white. They are known as the pirates, and I hide some lively little pirates on the inner fold of this card.

Official Visit

I nabbed these wedding favor tins at a local Dollar Tree on clearance-- 4 tins for 25 cents! They are a little old looking, worn, but perfect for this project! I removd the clear insert from the lid and added a 2" cinlce cut from cardstock, then a scalloped punch circle, finally finished with a 1 3/8" circle stamped with the Tooth Fairy stamp from Stampin Up! This is a darling in as we begin to talk about the tooth fairy and

GO CREW!

It was our turn to take treats for the soccer team last week, and since I like to go over the top, I ordered special cookies that were decorated like a soccer ball and each cokie has the player's name on it. I stamped a topper for each cello bag and added it before distributing them to the girls. GO CREW!

Changito

My daughter and I made these ATC's (artist trading cards, that is) for her to pass out to her preschool class on Valentines Day. The size is perfect for little hands, and the design was so simple, I turned out 15 in no time!
